which order? possible stupid question lol

right folks, i've got a cleaning kit from chemicalguys, i've just washed the girlfriends mx5 with the bodywash and wax, now the cars drying, and i have no idea which product i should be using next

heres what consists of the kit

scratch and swirl buff
synthetic quick detailer
ez-creme glaze
m-seal

can someone tell me what i should be using next, should i be using all the products? and in what order? pressume m-seals last? lol

this is the 1st proper wash its had/gonna get since we bought it nearly a year ago, so i'm hoping to bring it up nice and then stay ontop of it!

cheers mate, your a life saver, how often should i be repeating this process? every wash or every month or 2?

The Scratch and swirl buff should be a once or twice a year step.

I am the wrong person to ask re the m-seal as it lasts no more than a month for me so would be glazing and using that at least once a month. Some people get it to last longer than that.

Weekly wash and wipe down with the Quick Detailer to maintain it.

just put one layer of synthetic quick detailer on, its coming up a treat

but only to find i also have xxx hard core paste wax in the kit, is it to late to apply this now, when should this be used in the process?

if its too late, it can wait till next time lol

You can use the wax over the detailer... not a problem. Definitely worth doing... the XXX is pretty good although haven't used it myself for about a year now, will have to get it out again as was a nearly full pot!

The wax goes on after the sealant and whether the QD has been used will make no difference. Only thing to remember is once you have used the wax you can't add additional layers of the M Seal over it.

i didn't get chance to put the wax on after all, things to do etc, but next time i'll give it a go, car looks 100 times better than it did, was looking very dull, and blotchy, the paintwork looks like new now ( well not quite, but you know what i mean, for a 15 year old car ) the girlfriends very impressed with it, the car really stands out now, thanks for the advice rich, would still have been scratching my head as to which product to use next, lol, and brand86
