Which Pads? - 172

  M4 LCI, X1, ZX10R
I need to change my front discs and pads soon.

So i'm going to get the HC Discs from GSF, but i'm sure about pads.

I don't want to spend loads and I don't do track days; DS2500 are no good and I don't like EBC Greenstuff.

Any other options? Or i'll just get stock again.

EBC's are much better than the old days.

The compound is much improved.
I use Apec £20 pads for road use, they work fine.

I'm having new front brakes fitted at Rentech on saturday, and they have recommended brembo discs with either greenstuff pads, or ferodo ds2500's or whatever the number is.

I'm going with greenstuff, though I had them on my 106 GTi and hated them, but I'm trusting Rentech's recommendation.

I may give the EBC a try then, but I remember them to soft and eating discs.

If not i'll see what GSF have in stock on Sat

I've got them on the 172 now and I had them on my old 1.6 too, they didn't wear any quicker than I expected and certainly weren't disc eaters. Nice fast road pad imo.
