hi there im new to the site as iv only had my clio sport 182 for a couple of weeks. iv been putting normal unleaded in her and it was only the second time i was putting some fuel in that i noticed on the inside of the filler flap it says 98 ron recomended, should i be putting super unleaded in her ?.

Renault recommend 98 RON.. but in practice anything above 97 is fine.

I only tend to use V-Power in mine but you could use BP Ultimate 97, Tescos 99 and Esso's 97 as well

Yous hould put super unleaded in but i only put in 95 ron from tescos lol. On the odd occasion i splash out on 97 or 98 ron

V-power, guys at work said its definitly better for your engine so even if you buy it for that reason alone! Plus there was a test on 5th gear ages ago that proved that cars that recommend 98ron actually take advantage of it - remember the impreza gained 15bhp, golf gti 9bhp and even a standard car (can't remember what it was) gained 3bhp. All saw torque increases as well.

Mines always ran on Optimax or now V-Power and I defo get more to the gallon!!

its wont do any harm putting 95ron in! i do most of the time! then every so often fill the tank with the good stuff i dont notice the diffrence!

V-Power for me usually, unless I'm going on the m-way and I know I gonna use it relatively quickly. It doesn't seem to mind what I use though.
