Which springs and what difference?

  clio 182
After getting an advisory on my rear spring for my 182 FF at MOT, and being told its £80 for a replacement.
With most of you saying I'd be better getting lowering springs.
What is the difference to the cup suspension when lowering springs are fitted. I don't want to lower it much if it can be helped but like the idea of getting new springs all round.
What are the apex springs like?

Eibach pro-line or sport-line. been through this a few times looking to change my Apex as they were very harsh on my minor roads and have just changed to Sport-lines and am very pleased with the ride. Dont get me wrong Apex are fine if your roads are well maintained and smooth tarmac.
Judging by replies i've seen, pro-lines dont lower as much. Where as sport-lines lower more.
Loads of topics about it to keep you busy on here if you search.

From personal expirence steer clear of Apex!! sportlines or PI springs from 519automotive are the best options

  Listerine & Poledo
If the garage is going to do the fitting for you, how much will they charge to change all 4 corners as opposed to just the rear pair?

This would be the time to change for lowering springs but I'd probably just replace the pair with OEM

Apex shocking. Were on my 182 when I bought it and to be honest I found them awful/dangerous, wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

Eibach are probably your best bet.

  Arctic Blue 182 FF
Apex will give you a very hard ride, i found i had both front springs with pieces snapped off and this happens to most 182s so i would buy a full set to save probs in the future,i didnt want it too low so bought some new eibachs prolines 30mm all round car drives so much better now, well recomended
