which springs ?

  1.2 16v clio
i have a 1.2 16v clio its pretty much standard at the mo bit skint but was wondering iwhich springs and dampers 2 buy which lowers it but does give me 2 much hassle for speed bumpers and crapy roads.

cheers chaps!

I'd recomend both springs and dampers you can get APEX and other kits for about £200~250. I wouldn't bother with just springs personally as you'll just wear the dampers so there no point just saving in the sort term as you'll have to pay the same again to swop the dampers later in life.

60mm's a nice drop...Apex is quite comforable... I had mine about -75mm on FK's tho...was a bit sharp.

Middo's kit would contain all you need!

The Mk2 clios don't have a torsion bar! If your handy with a spanner and have the right tools you can fit the kit yourself, otherwise a garage will charge about 2-3 hours labour.

my konis were just as comfortable as the standard suspension, just made it more fun and sporty to drive :) Just got mine put on fks (hence why i'm selling my kit) currently -85mm, and you can feel every stone in the road lol

The springs are spax btw
