Which Teleconverter?

I'm looking at getting a teleconverter. Is it worth spending the extra cash for a nikon 2x over say a sigma 2x?

I can't really find any reviews of them.

To be used with d300 & nikon 80-200 f2.8 afd.

we use nikons for work.....nit sure about the sigmas??

Some of the new sigma lenses are fairly decent...so the x2's should follow suit.
