Which wax for this cold weather?

  Clio 197
Hiya, I've got the following:

SRP, EGP

NXT & Gold Class.

Given the temperature, what's advisable (ie, which one will work ok on freezing cold paint).

I've had the car for two months, and I've only had a chance to put one coat of NXT on it because I've been so busy... I'd like to make up for it while I have time.

EGP will be the most durable, but a pain to use in this weather.

Don't rate either the NXT or Gold Class, neither are durable, but will both be slightly easier to remove.

I would not like to use any at this time of year tbh.

^ As Rich said, I intend on waxing up in the next couple of weeks before going back to uni but not going to bother until it gets a bit warmer and less damp in the air as otherwise its an absoolue mare to remove, especially the 476s.

I want to try and get a full coat of wax on mine over Xmas but can't be bothered to fight the weather.

Yeah my mum's friend is a carer an dwanted me to do her patients car "just a quick wash and polish" - I never like to turn away work but no way am I stepping outside to earn £40 or whatever!

Even a couple of decent cars I want to do might have to wait due to weather - wish I had a nice little garage to work in. Can't see after 4pm either!

Every wash, Mothers spray wax after dryin. Providin the cars not mega filthy, i can wash and wax it in little over an hour...

Wax'ins done inside a heated garage...No danger i'm standing outside in this pisch!

Just bought some Collinite 476S after being told its supposed to be the most durable wax available. Time will tell if I agree with them.

I would look into getting a spray wax or sealant to use at this time of year Oms.

JEFFS Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger is akin to the EGP but in a spray form, wipe on and wipe off and can be layered one coat after another. Does really need something like SRP to allow it to bond properly

My choice for this time of year is Optimum Car Wax

It can be sprayed on the car after washing and buffed off, takes 5 -10 mins tops to do the whole car and is good for 1-2 months protection easily. Got lots more than that on the summer months on my daily car 4-5 months and it was still beading.
