Which wheels to put on my mk1?

Right, i am running 17s at the minute, but they are far too big for handling and looks.

The car is going to be dropped on sportlines (-50mm) at the front, and hopefully lower the rear 40mm for a slight raked look.

Just not sure which wheels to get. Obviously nothing too expensie, £400 max with tyres.

I've looked at 172 Wheels, but struggling to find a set on ebay and on here, and its the same story with turini's :dapprove:

I have emailed a company about making me some wide steels and paint them white and have colour coded centers and also a staggered look. And, have looked into BBS LM reps from Mark at bmautosport which should fit my car, but they are out of stock.

The only problem i am having it getting a match with the bore of renaults!

Any help is appreciated as i dont know where to look apart from here and a couple other sites

Silver williams wheels?

I've had a look at the willy wheels, especially in silver. Looks amazing. But i just want something more wow in terms of style and size.

Dropping to 16" to make it look less hotwheels style.

Love 172s the most, but just need to find a set close to me

Shame, I just sold an set of 172 ff rims for 100 bucks. They look ace on mk1's.

Idealy want 16". Prefer the look of catalunyas to the stealths though
