im getting some new alloys in a few months but i like a few so i was wondering if someone could photoshop some wheels onto my car cause im stuck for choice. thanx
turinis
pro race 2
td pro race 1.2
super Ls
super Ts
The are quite a few cars in the gallery on turinins, super t's & super l's.
tbh it needs lowering, my dads got a mk2 172 & its no where near as high as that.
If you're planning on lowering the car then you'll need to make sure the offset is correct as the Mk2 172 have an offset of 48 and most wheel 'specialists' will swear blind that all clios are 37 even though they're not
If you fit OZ wheels they have an offset of 37 which means they'll rub if you go 'low' unless you get the angle grinder out. I believe the pro race 1.2's are also about offset 37
you can get the 1.2's direct from rimstock in any offset you want, mine are ET45 ive also had ET38 on my full fat lowered 40mmish with no probs, stick with 16's & get the offset as close to standard as you can always use spacers. turinis or 1.2's for me
Don't get any 5 spoke pattern as they always look cack on small cars. Especially if your brake discs aren't big enough to fill behind the wheel. Super L's are great but I've heard a few stories about the spokes coming away from the rim. Turinis or Super T's (just bought these, awaiting delivery) are the ones to go for IMO
When i got my new wheels back in the summer i was told by Carnoisseur@southend that they could get them mid December onwards so if you try them you may be in luck!!!
