Whine in 4th and 5th gear

Wondering what this could be, I'm thinking gearbox oil?

That's more likely to be a noisy bearing. It's not a five minute fix unfortunately.

You'd need more info realy to give an idea, the 5th gear is placed differently so that usualy shows low oil first.I'd have a look at the oil level but it could be on the way out or a gearbox selector . If you give us some more info ie speed sounds history i'll try give some better ideas
