whining thro speakers

ok i have whining coming thro some speakers.bascially u hear the rev of the engine thro them.

set up is pioneer head unit.rcas (two sets) goto one amp(componants and 6x9) with a aux feed going to the mono block.i have supressor on the rca for the rear channel as its only 6x9 its coming thro and this worked b4, but now have the two subs in boxs against each wheel arch with one having power cap screwed to it.the same side as this i have the wires running up to the 6x9s.

confused now as b4 it was ok but now got subs and cap in its back, but only on the rear. Any ideas.??????????????????

My hands free kit does this too, removing the phone and blowing on the connections sorts the problem, but obviously this is a different situation, maybe just a bad connection something earthing onto the cars chassis picking up the interference?

Just a guess, might be worth checking all the connections although i guess uve probably already done that.

It happens when power cables pass too close to speaker wires...

Get a suppressor...

  One with a few more

alternator whine, this happens when you rev also mnore noticably. check out the power wires and also consider updating the big three (wiring, batt to alt etc)

it only happens on rear 6x9 thinking it must be power cable thats not to far away from the 6x9 that feeds the power cap.was tere b4 the power cap went in but got inline suppressor for rear rca and was fine, but now back.earths are all good and short wires. get supressor for the alternator u mean?

You can get a few different types I have one that gones inline before the amp on the RCAs, you should be able to get one for the Alternator.

You could even just try an earth strap?
