NO, don't plastidip them in a bright colour, they look best when they're subtle.
Looks awesome as is. What size are the wheels?
the plans i've got for the winter is:
colour code the spoiler & door handles, maybe even the bullets.
sort out the clio badge
i NEED to spray the front bumper, wings and side skirts as the dick who did it, never primed or sanded them therefore peeling!
I would also like to camber the back wheels, 2 degrees maybe and lower it more to pull off the wheels.
any advice would be great cheers!
UPDATE JUNE '14
- Have bought 1.0 degree camber shims for the back wheels, should be here friday
- Skoda splitter
Also… i need some advice, IF i was to buy these coilovers, would there be any problems with the camber shims etc?

Wow you've made loads of progress since I last looked at your thread! I love the look of the car now!
I used to to have those coilovers on my old 1.6. They're a bit crashy but for the money the can make the car look so much better! Don't see why you'd have a problem with those camber shims tbh.
Also, now you've got a Skoda splitter, does it mean your old one is up for sale?
P.S. Those wheels are awesome! I was looking for those before I found the Rota Grid Drifts.
thankyou mate, gonna be horrible when i come to sell it!
how far do the coils go? you reckon they are worth it?
haha, yeah ill let you know about it when its actually here!
Yeah I'm glad I put them on mine. I had it lowered 60mm front and 55mm on the back. The fronts could go down a bit more but I think that was the max on the rear. The wheels are 15" in this photo.
did you go too liverpool uni? there used too be a white 172 rep around
I'm running those coilovers at the moment mate, like dan said they are a bit crashy, front end is quite bouncy but you get used to it after a while, my splitter hits the floor a lot where I live, isn't far off the floor and there's quite a bit of thread on the coilovers to go a bit lower, the back end on just the springs no adjusters sits just above the rear wheels.
Car looks amazing though mate, love what you've done to it.
Where did you get your camber shims from bud? Looking for a set.
There's a set on eBay and they're 15mm spacers too with the bolts,£45.99
Edit:scrap that just looked they're no longer on there!
It seems very weird to leave the wheels on the car! You didn't even cover over the tyres.
