White substance on HT lead

I was inspecting my car yesterday and for some reason I decided to check my HT leads. I took them off one by one from the coil pack, and on one there was this white substance. It looks milky and wet but in fact it is dry and powdery. Any ideas what it could be?

corrosion. give it a small squirt of grease, and do the same on all the connectors
