White Wheels

Check my bad self posting in this section, anyway..

Wheels are currently in the refurb process and I want to keep them looking white once ive got them back on.

What do I need to buy? Id prefer to give them a few good coats before they go on so theyre shining brighting than Rich's eyes and protected so in future I only need to give them a quick wash to get them looking good again!

So products/links/suggestions are most welcome! Also, any good like brushes etc!

I dont mind the initial effort before they go on, but dont want to have to do much work on a daily basis! lol..

If you can get a few layers of the EGP on then the Poorboys before they go on, it will mean all you need is soap and water to wash them and another coat of the Poorboys Wheel Sealant every 2-3 months.

I used to have white multispokes!

Looked AMAZING when clean.... But had to clean them every two days!

Hated them when they were dirty!

I found using a PH balanced wheel cleaner worked a treat for keeping them clean mate.

I apply them all with some of those cheap yellow foam hand pads and remove with a microfiber cloths. Fine to apply and remove microfiber if you wish.

I use the poorboys wheel sealant. great stuff.

I apply it with a microfibre pad and buff off with a MF towel

when you refurb them mate, give them plenty of coats of paint and laquer, and then using something like poorboys wheelsealant. brake dust are white wheels worst enemy so if you need to replace your pads at some point swap them for some like mintex ones which are ment to reduce brake dust. if you clean them regularly then they are fine, its only if you leave them a while they can be a pain

ive got white willy wheels on my car, and this is how i do it

clean them with carlack 68 nano car care, then i applied carlack 68 nano sealant, then i applied 2 coats of poorboys wheel sealant

they have been on the car for 2 months now and ive only had to remove about 3 specks of dust with clay, everything else comes off with weak all purpose cleaner/shampoo/weak acid free wheel cleaner

its very important that you dont use a normal wheel cleaner on them, as otherwise it will take the sealant off very quickly, mine still bead after 2 months but im planning on putting another coat on today
