who’s changed fro ctr to 182

anybody here changed from ctr to 182. if so what do you think of the change? any regrets?

Nope, but I drove both and the 182 is a more natural drive. Do you drive many miles?

I went from a 172 (MK2) -> CTR -> 172 (MK1)

CTR is a thirsty beast compared to any 172/182

Not swapped, but I almost purchased one before I bought the 172, then again a little while back when I got the 182.

Only one thing put me off, but compared to the Clio it was quite a big thing, and that was the lack of feel from the steering. Other than that it was a cracking car.

Yeah massive over assistance on the steering, really weird and I dunno why they did it.

I did it the other way round... Clio 172 Cup to CTR...

The Civic is built better, larger/more spacious car, more refined, amazing engine & box, better driving position, better dealers, faster top end, etc...

However the Clio is more fun, better steering feel, more nimble, wider power band, higher spec (in 182 trim), better value, etc...



Each has its pros & cons and I dont regret owning either!

dont really drive long distance. maybe 3 or 4 times a year
