Who Has Renault Sat Nav??

I haven't got an instruction manualfor my factory fit Sat Nav in an 02 reg 172. The Sat Nav itself is playing up, can anyone photocopy their instruction manual for me do you think?? I have tried Navtech, Siemens and Renault and none of them can help!

Ok cheers. Just had Renault phone me regarding my on-line enquiry. Apparently I need to contact the manufacturers, but they said I needed Renault!! If it's in a Renault vehicle, surely Renault supply the instructuions, c0cks, getting right p1ssed off now!

The sat nav system is actually made by VDO Dayton and is based on there MS5000 model but made for Renault and uses Renault Firmware. I got a PDF Manual for the MS5000 of VDO's website which is almost identical to the one that came with my Renault Sat Nav.

I don't think it's getting a signal. The little dish on-screen is red and the car thinks it's in Dagenham half the time when it's parked outside my house in Lewisham!!

There's a 4 digit code you put in to unlock "expert mode". You can select an option in here that shows you the strength and quality of the signal the unit is receiving.

Can't remember the code but I found it on the parkers forum.

Yeah I've seen that, didn't really want to put it in until I had a manual but I have now got hold of one!! I think it's a loose aerial somewhere, how hard is it to take the top off of the dash? Took the radio out but can't get up to the sat nav as the blowers are in the way!
