Who to insure with - half cage and mods

I've been with Brentacre for 2 years and they have just increased my renwal £100 ffs! I remember trying several companies last year and they would not touch insuring a car with a half cage, any help on who to try?

My insurance with bell has gone up slightly, but they were still the cheapest I could find. Insurance seems to have gone crazy this last couple fo years.

Could try some of the more specialist insurers, but it depends on the sort of mileage you'll be doing on the road?

I'll probably be moving to REIS when I renew. £40 more expensive, but they're fine with modifications. Only want to know about any work done to the engine/increase in power.

Will give them a bash, Adrian Flux quoted £370 compared to Brentacre renewal of £470, they have since matched that price

As I said in my PM, that is a very competitive price you have had, I wouldn't bother shopping around.
