Whoops!

So I go out to my car, to move it so I can wash it.. and, it disarms, then the central locking decides to make a noise about a second later and open. Odd I thought.

Tried to start it, completly nothing..

Checked it with multimeter, 7v.. pretty low, hah.

Look around wondering what it could be draining, and notice the map reading light switch on.. Id left it on since Wednesday night!!! Didnt even notice it was on, and I check my car every night.. stupid.

So now, the battery is on charge.. nothing works in the car apart from the alarm which is self powered. Would happen just before Trax.. Heh.

So remember people! Map reading lights are not good!

It must be the way it aims.. and doesnt just send out light!

Didnt do to bad tho, since Wednesday - done quite a few short journeys, and one semi-ish long.. so battery wouldnt have ever gotten fully charged!

lol! Ive done that before, but only left it on for one night so it was ok.

He he - mine did that a few months ago. Flat as a flat thing from flatsville - a little investigation showed the bloody thing had a mind of its own and came on randomly. Its disconnected now - I dont ever read maps anyway.
