If the rest of the body had faded, surly that would be lighter and not the door?
Looks like a wrong colour match to me imho, silver and red are the worst 2 colours to match anyway.. I'd take it back and tell them your not happy.
Obviously the QC tester wasn't doing his job properly before they released that.

Also they must have replaced the mirror cover as thats the same colour, get them to respray that too

It's the original mirror cover mate. It's still got fly guts on there.

Seriously, my missus just run the rear quarter of her Civic (also silver) along a wall. They re-sprayed the repair, both doors & the drivers side wing to blend it in (as Fred said). This is what they should do on yours.

As yoz said, should blend it into arch, rear 3/4. Silver is ment to be one of the worst colours to match up right, due to it being light. hence the blending. Some tos$er keyed an old pug of mine down the door panel, ended up nearly getting half the car sprayed to get it all matched up and blended in....

Definitely take it back mate, door looks totally different in that first pic!!

Someone scraped my missus car and she paid for it to be sprayed. Got it back and you could see they hadn't blended the resprayed bit properly. (Racing blue) We took it back and they just re-did it.

In that first pic it looks like they've used the wrong silver!!
