whre is the Airbag computer located

where abouts is the air bag computer located?

is it just infront of the gear Stick under the Ash tray?

What does it look like ive looked under the ash tray and ther is like a Socket under there for like a plug is this the air bag computer?

yeh Everyone keeps telling once the Aigbag in the car goes u need to get a new air bag computer or something unless someone is just blagging my head then that wud be majority of the people who have replied to previous posts

there is an airbag computer, this is wot decides the force of the impact and which airbag(s) to deploy. No idea whereabouts it is tho mate...

as in once the air bag as been deployed (in my case from the passenger Seat )

that socket under the ashtray is for the eue adaption,,iff you ever have a diagnostic lol,,well it is on mein 98_04

the bit your talking about as far as i know is just the diagnostic socket,i dont THINK the airbags have their own computer its intergrated into another unit which may be the ecu but the different computers interact so could be wrong.

and when the airbags were put back in on my their was no mention of a new computer just some codes to reset them
