plus the clio is quicker. Pulled away from an ST220 convincingly, with my homemade crappy MOT CAT too!
Don't like the wheels on the clio.

Pff, wheels look good.
There just two completely different cars, perhaps some research may have found you a bit happier.
Clio can take a corner too ;)

I traded my first cup for a v6 4motion golf cos I was doing alot of motorway at the time. Was lovely but not for me! Sold that and bought another cup straight away. Never looked back even though I still do a fair bit of motorway.

ST220's are really good in all fairness, for a big car they do handle well. Had a go in my mate's Dad's one a few months back and was really surprised, loved the looks, Recaro's, noise, effortless grunt and the handling. Perfect family car really apart from the fuel consumption but I s'pose theres always the ST TDCi for that.

I think you made the right choice though in swapping it for the 182, I know which one I'd rather be behind the wheel of on a fast country road! On everything else other than a motorway, the Clio owns the Mondeo really!

Your annoying me now with your threads, why dont you just go away? go post these on a mondeo forum where someone might care, you posting this on a clio forum!!

What do you expect to achieve? Are you hoping that we might all feel so guilty for you we will club together and buy yo another mondeo??

GO AWAY, YOUR BORING!!

RANT OVER :P

Why moan when you decide to sell a big family five door sport for a hot hatch, what on earth did you expect? If you like your big cars why even contimplate getting a Clio?

I'd advise test driving the next car you buy if i was you to save disappointment.

This is a Pointless thread if you ask me!!!!!

Mondeo st24 are shite.

Mondeo st220 however are great, really nice car. Clarkson loves 'em.

The people that are moaning on this thread are boring tbh, not the creater.

Dont post on the thread then!!:rasp:

Wow the Mondeo looks so... exclusive... never seen one of those on the road before.

Loving the Clio with the gloss black wheels though. What sidelights do you have?

I'm with Fletch, like them both.

I have to say I think the interior on the Ford is also really, really nice.

I would imagine the ST is quicker higher up the speeds though.

the comfort is better in the st220 but power wise the clio would have it the 220 has to booted to get it moving its not like the power kicks in straights awsy nice car though mate sound lovely with a exsaust

Yeh the man speaks sense! It's not like the Clio has to be thrashed to go quick, only have to get it to 5,000 rpm out of its 7,250 rpm standard limit to actually move :S

Both Nice Cars but obviously most on a Clio Forum will prefer the Clio
