Nah tried it without FRAPPs and same thing and no previous problems with FRAPPS on my previous laptop!

Lol - since when? I've had FRAPs running for over 4 years and its never kicked me from that.
Have you modified the BC2 folder or directory structure in anyway? The other option is to force PB to update manually - which I always tend to do rather than let it do it in-game.
Follow this link m8 - http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bc2.php and install PBSetup and run it. Add BC2 as a game and it goes off to update PB itself. Give me a shout if you're struggling...

i had to actually uninstall fraps for mine to continue to work!
perhaps you have something else installed? a google should bring up a list of hated programs

Yes, I know - I was a tool and in 'BC2 Mode' and didn't spot the WaW reference - but the link is still the same! :slap: In fact, here's a better link....
