motorway driving, only 60-70mph, not braking yet the car was fishtailing very slowly side to side quite noticeably... could it just be the road surface or likely to be the tyres/car??
Check your wheels are on properly and fitted squarely? Could be someone tried nicking your wheels and its only held on by your locking wheel nut!
Otherwise you could try getting the tracking checked and look for damage or uneven wear to the tyres?
As someone else said the rear shock could be gone?
Test it out on some other roads and see what happens. I find at 120 on a bumpy piece of tarmac it feels very scary and is all over the place but its solid at 60 or 70.
Yep - or it could be something as simple as tyre pressures. Get yourself down to Asda - they always have those decent (and free) digital air lines at the petrol station bit. I set my fronts to 32 or 33 PSI and the rears to 31 PSI. If it still feels like its fish-tailing after that, then it maybe (as others have said) a knackered tyre, balancing or tracking.
