Why is my windscreen blue?

Car  ?
As title, is it heated or rain sensitive or something? Looks like it has a blue tinge to it like some sort of film on top?

My old one never had it... thought it was an rsi extra like the slight tints to all the rest. Oh well, looks cool.

Mine has the tint, and it's really noticable in the reflaection of the sun. No idea what its for though apart from the above.

It does look pretty cool.

Correct, GPS square. Well it's actually for toll roads on the continent but comes in handy for TomTom too ;)

The square cut out section is for toll road passes or something like that used in France.

Put your sat nav lead there if your unit needs an external antenna, some do some don't.

- damm you da;) to the minute too.

I've always wanted a heat reflective windscreen for my car, as mine doesn't have one.

So when i had a crack in my windscreen, and got autoglass to replace it, i was hoping they'll replace it with one, but nope, same shitty one :(
