why would my car..

nearly stall? I was waiting to pull out..and my car kept dropping revs (on idle) and
at one point nearly stalled.
also yesterday as I was going up a hill in 3rd going 30mph..I noticed it kept sort
of losing power then gaining ..off and on.
Would injector cleaner sort the problem??

does it have a I.K? mine was very rough when i ran a powertec one (at idle)

Yeah a pipercross cone. iv had it for about a year now with no problems until n.ow

i had a standerd box with a K&N inside was great then with my Simota forced induction it is very lumpy at idle even when hot , i have got my Normal airbox on atm and its much better so i think miller is correct.

if you've had one for a while i doubt thats it.

put a engine flush or fuel system cleaner through it

it could be the fule, if you by from a supermarket, you can het heavy amounts od silicon on the fuel used to make it runny iirc. that condence on you lamda/o2 sensor, which makes you car adust the fuel air mixture and you get splutteirng and random power drop off.

there was a big occurance of this accross england so much so there were witing list for new o2 sensors. i thin it was morrisons and tesco fule whic caused it.
in of the reasons why i 9 times out of 10 use shell. only for to morrisons when im desperate.

Think I will start filling up at shell then...see how it goes...It hasn't done it for a day now.

check the ecu cover at the back of the engine, there metal and somtimes rub when friction goes through the engine and cuts the wires, what happened to my old one.

just had same problem on mine as your experiancing just back from renault and it was the "upstream 02 sensor"

So if the fuel dont sort it ...its either the lambda sensor or upstream o2 sensor.
Can I just check these by removing one at a time and seeing if anything happens?
