Why Would You Buy Another Clio.

But in terms of fun per pounds the clio is really difficult to beat.

My thoughts exactly, i could swap tomorrow but for what.

My trophy is; unbelievably cheap to run & insure.

I get about 30mpg on average, not many cars even expensive ones can get down broads as fast as this.

Got mates with evo's, cupra r's, scoobs, bemers etc etc & they all think my trophy is a bargain for what you get for the money.

  BMW M3
I wont buy another renault as there is nothing i prefer to my 182 and i want some quality and refinement next. I want a serious cruiser lol

  Trophy #267
I dont think id buy another clio - least not yet. They are great value for money espesh the £11k i paid for mine new. However, dealer nightmares and build quality niggles mean im unlikely to go the same route.
I would consider an R26 @ buy my car but only as its a steal at the rpice and imho the new clio & megane are better built. Unfortunately the 197 this is a tradeoff for the engine. Id consider one for the wife (non RS) if i saw one and the price is right, but unless something happens to make it stand out im more interested in something a bit bigger, bit more poke and with a little more style.

I would look into buying an R27 in Liquid if one come about at a nice enough price.

Love the way they look, love the interior and the fact they supposedly handle better then 182's with cup susp (which are more than good enough) is very appealing to me.

The stumbling block would be the price at the moment. I wouldnt pay anything over 10/12k for a a Clio so 17.2k is well over board.

If i were spending 17k on car i would rather get the extra pounds together and go for a top spec (second hand) Impreza or an early E46 M3.

Something along the lines of the above anyway.

the only car to have is 172 or 182, any other car is pance and i have had alot of them....

they are just sooooooooooo perfect

  Turbo'd MX-5 MK4
i'd still buy one, I won't forget my 172 ownership in a LONG time. It was an AWESOME car which owed me nothing.

I would never buy another Renault because of the shocking aftercare they give to their customers!!

Exactly my feelings Maz. The vast majority of dealers don't seem to give a hoot about their customers, and their technical knowledge of the Renaultsport models is abysmal.

I think that sums it up nicely

I don't own a Trophy but I do find the 172 very reasonable to run and the mpg is great:D
