wide clio

right....im in the process of strippin the valver for a full re-spray....& the usless job that J.P Bodies in swindon have done on my arches is a bit unsightly....so im thinkin..sort out what should have been done & then....slap on some rear wide arches !!!!....but which ones ???......has anyone on here got a wide arch clio ??...if so which kit ???....ill just be putting the rear arches on for now...ill add the other bits later coz its gonna be a allsorts kit......(i.e bit of alien kit , bit of F2 kit, bit of maxi kit.....etc!)

also anyone know where i can get a wide track conversion done ???....(so the wheels arent sunk into the arches)

why not build ontop of your std arches and use a new set ontop, of course youll have to cut the bulge out and itll bea bit fo work, but youll have the only steel arched clio....wide one that is.

and then i considered the price of the alien rear arches.....£195.00 = vat per pair !!

& i need em in a hurry....car has to be back on the road by sunday !!

thats the ones i wanted essex....but dimma only sell the complete kits....& at £1700+....they can foxtrot off !!!

u see the pics of that one at the john noble RR day? think that was a maxi kit. He had to have big f**k off spacers made to make his wheels fill the arches more. think Larkspeed made em for him.

ah, just get replacement arches and make them poke out a lil more.....

you gonna buy them, cut them out, sand down, weld, grind welds, clean, prep, primer, paint then finish all by sunday!

right..........seein as everything was against me today....I.E....Prima were being a bunch of unhelpful miserable t**sers, K-tec didnt have the arches i wanted in stock (cant have everything in stock coz youd need a fookin big w/house & lots of cash) & the other company i contacted (the details that nickg123 gave out)...the guy was on holiday...not back till next week !!.........ive decided to go with BenRs suggestion..........a steel wide arch clio !!!......but ill have to buy normal 1/4 panels & modify em......coz Fish Brothers Renault in swindon wanted over £300 per side !!!

ill take some pics of the mods for you pic lovin modders !!!

Hmmm....if your using std arches, you can use the swage line as the start of the arch and cut out the new ones or existing arch and buil onto that, extending with sheet metal, or use another set of arches ontop of the others to extend it.....itll be bloody hard though!
