wide wheels

I got a set of alloys for my girlfriend W reg clio 215 40 16. They fit no bother but there is a slight wobble when above 70mph. the too front tyres are brand new but it wasnt me who got them fitted so my next thing to do is to get them re ballanced. Just wandering if any 1 has tryed to fit wheels this wide and if so have they had the same problem. could it just be ballancing or is cos they r wide cheers for any help richie b

Are you using Spigot rings?

i had 215/40/16 on turinis on the front of my mk2 172, lowered on apex springs no probs. didnt work so well on the back with 5 guys in the car tho

i got the alinment re done and the ballancing and all seems to be sorted cheers folks
