wierd clicking sound

rear left wheel, no metal or anything in the tyre, i dont know if the bearing has gone or what?, it gets slower on low speeds then quicker on high speed.
i dont have a clue
any suggestions?

Bearing is more of a droning noise.

How long has it been happening for?

iv only just noticed it, had passanger window down and could hear it. sometimes it goes and then comes back :s

checked there are'nt any little stones stuck in the tread?

iv checked and theres nothing. even had car raised and still nothing.. looked underneath to see if anything was loose.. and still nothing

When you had it jacked up, did you check for play in the wheel?

Did you try spinning the wheel too to see if you could hear anything?

ive heard my front drivers side wheel do this on occasions :-S

he means pull and push the wheel with alot of pressure and see if the wheel moves if it does the bearing is goosed

Check all the wheels - ccould be a stone or twig caught, making the noise as the wheel turns
