wierd noise

Started the car up this morning and I noticed when i left for about the first 5 mins i could hear a noise sounded like a bike when pedaling backwards. Went faster when revved higher and after the 5 mins just stopped completely. Nothing else happened, was driving as should be.

Any thoughts?

Alternator belt?

alternator. Possibly a bad earth on the stereo and getting feedback kinda noise?

Or something else.......................................................dunno what though

possibly a bike going past being peddled backwards... thats y it took 5 mins odd to go away

Actually I think i left my kellogs frosties spoke thing on the monzas. Must have come off when reaching 50mph.

Seriously though, iv just had the engine rebuilt and every belt and part possible has been replaced so nothing should be worn or on its way out. just been for a drive and seems fine. ill see if it has gone tomorrow morning....

Isnt that the fuel line or tappets issue again? Doesnt sound like anything serious?

dunno, i didnt read about that. Just seamed strange how it just stopped suddenly and nver to be heard again.

What about the fuel line...??? Because my fuel pipe going into my pbv split the other week causing me to rev it on my drive cos it sounded like a dog. Next min my drive is pi55 wet through with petrol doh!
