Wierd noises from Exhaust?

Since having my new exhaust and decat fitted I have been getting some wierd noises coming from the cat area.

I guess its blowing noises but they only occur when changing gear at high revs and when engine braking!!!

Its a sorta of gurgling or blowing through a straw type of sound.

Any ideas?

LOL! I have just been browsing Google Maps for u sir! I cant really see anywhere between Bristol and Dorset thats suitable for a meet other than Bath which is still a way off from you! PM me some ideas!

Yeah it will just be a joint or a gasket like you say

Ha ha, look a little harder.

Check the clamp between the cat and the centre section. Mine is blowing there, apparently it's a common place to blow.

Fred said that its "Normal" for the Decat and Mani joint to blow, Mine spits a little at that joint also

Yeh but its quite loud so i want to do something about it really!

Jack it up, you can usually see Black deposits where the now un eco-friendly fumes are blowing out, I've removed all joints and coated ina Silicone Based Exhaust Putty and reclamped in an attempt to sort it OR just poop into a Qwik Fit Etc and ask them to look at it

if its anything like the 172 theres not alot you can do about it,
do 182s have the silly spring loaded joint?

everytime i lft off the springs allow a gap in the joint and you get "sport" noises!
