Will A 1.6 16v 2002 , Fit In My 1.2 16v 2002

hey guys ive got a standerd 1.2 clio 2002 , ive been looking at getting the 1.6 will i need looms , new mounts ?? or will it fit straight in what about a new earbox or race clutch what do you clio genies think??? cheers george.

A race clutch for a 1.6.... that's a bit serious!

Honestly though, massive waste of money mate. An engine conversion will set you back a lot of cash. As above, wait until you can afford a sport.

for all the bother its never guna be worth it, ive had a 1.2 and a 1.6 and the difference between them isnt worth the hassle, the 182/172 is a different ball game wait till you can get one and o be honest by the time you can afford to buy/run one you will probably want something more powerful.

as above had both and they are not worth changing, if you do a search i looked into this a few years back and had some good threads with info but then i drove one and realised it was a stupid idea as it was the same cost and work to convert to 2.0 16v
