will a 50cell cat pass MOT??

potentially buying an orbisoud race exhaust which has a 50 cell cat instead of the 200cell on there road exhaust.

Question is will it pass an MOT on emmissions.

Also does a leaner mixture give lower emmissions.

Only way to find out is to stick it on and go for a test I think Mikes passed with a full decat on it when he cheked but others have failed even with just a different back box in the past.
I'd think being as your cars not running standard maps you'd be fine.

Do they just measure emmissions at idle?

It would be quite easy to put a leaner map into the ECU just for the MOT if this would reduce the emmissions.
