Will a ph1 engine 1.2 fit my ph2?

As above really, it's an engine from a ph1 (1.2 16v) and mine's a 2003 1.2 16v, meaning it has the earlier design engine (think there were two anyway!)

That's all I know so far, will it fit? Any ideas? Obviously I'll ask a lot more questions when the guy gets back to me, but I need this asap!

Im fairly sure the engine changed from 04 onwards, they look visably different so have a look

So the ph1 one should be fine? I don't see why not. I'm all excited now!

My 05 plate 1.2 had a different engine from a mates '03 plate. I'm sure it'll be fine!
