Will a standard exhaust off a 1.2 fit a 1.6?

Just looking at putting a standard exhaust back on my 1.6, Just wondering if there is any difference between the 1.2s and the 1.6s.

I dont think itd fit, different engine so I'm guessing different manifold and exhaust, a 1.4 16v exhaust should fit no bother though

surely the 1.4 and 1.6 run the same exhaust since they are basically the same engine?

not sure on the above but a 1.6 exhaust wont be a direct fit, they are different, if you really want you could make it though

That was my point lol, same engine, different bore and compression iirc

sorry i got it the wrong way round i thought he was putting 1.6 exhaust on a 1.2!!

Exhaust bores are all different. So no.
