Will I Need Different Bolts



  98 MK1 PH3
just got a set of 17" alloys for my clio mk2 ph1, will i need different bolts or will the ones from the standard steel wheels be ok?

They will be fine mate. Make sure you have spigot rings if they aren't the right size centre bore

great stuff, thanks for the quick reply bud. thought id ask & be on the safe side as i know some cars/wheels you need to change the bolts, just ordered the spigot rings off ebay ;) bargain £3.95 delivered lol

Just to be the bearer of bad news you should check the bolts if you had steel wheels then realy fopr dissimilar metal corrosion you should realy get new ones plus I'd bet your spending a few quid on the wheels and tyres so who not spend a few quid to protect them with some new bolts and locking wheel nuts.
