how much am i looking to pay for a williams engine. not to fussed about the milage its done as im gonna get it reconditioned. but not a lot over a 100k? what sort of price range am i looking at and where do you reckon i could get one?

Between £800-1000 seem to be the going rate. And if your having it recond then it doesnt really matter about 100k+.

could the block not be knackered on an engine over 100k?

depends on how well looked after its been mate................when i took mine out it had done 73k, the last 30k of these under my ownership...

the bores are absolutely fukkin mint still, even the orig honin marks are still there.so an extra 30k wont b a problem if its gettin a re-hone n new rings

Paul Mitchel at infini-car is your best bet.

He often posts on here and he often has written off Williams with fully working engines.

Think his user names Paul Infinicar but dont quote me on that.

100k isnt overly worn at all...in its infancy. Especially when a rebuild is already on teh cards.
