Williams air filter choises

I have both a standard airbox with an ITG pannel filter,
and an open cast K&N filter,

personally i think the k&N did look marginly better and sound much better,
but will it be bringing the power down by any noticable amount??

i can make a cold air feed for it also if need be!

any input would be grand!

Standard airbox with panal filter is the best setup by far for power

k&n will lose you about 5bhp and putting a caf next to it will make no difference what so ever, the filter is that close to the inlet manifold that draws in so much hot air reducing power big time,

you need to make a heatshield all the way round it which is pointless as you might as well just use the standard airbox
