Williams buying advice

Mainly just general stuff like cambelt, headgasket rust round the arches?
Well, I guess everyone would be different.

Receipts are good, cambelt at 72k/5 years. Just generally if its been maintained OK, which, should be obvious with how it looks.

Loose steering around the centre (steering column probably), stiff clutch (they all are stiff, but if its rediculous, then itll probably need changing.)

Service history is fine.. but, receipts are better IMO.

General common sense I guess.

Start it up, listen for noises, look at oil pressure, take it for a drive, look at all temps etc..

Id definetly recommend taking someone with you to look.. because what someone notices, the other might miss etc..

Surprised BenH has never written a full comprehensive Williams buying guide with words and pictures!

Such a thing would be good as some are getting on now – a sadly some have been unloved
