been quoted roughly 5hrs for cambelt change on my williams thing is i also want to get new cams fitted for extra poke just wondered if the head is off to put in new cams surely it will be easier to fit a new belt at the same time? i might as well get both jobs done at the same time rather than paying 5hrs labour for the belt alone and then later another 5-6 hours on getting cams fitted or am i talking sh*t?

you dont need to take the head off to fit cams mate! you just need to take off the rocker cover and cam cover so your half talking sh*t lol! but yes get them both done at once mate to save you paying twice!

Well BB did my cambelt for 137 quid and doubt they take 5 hours otherwise it would have been more.

Have new cams and have been waiting for next cambelt change (doing 36k after 1st 72k change) to combine fitting cams and new cambelt/tensioners etc.

cams r on top of the head, valves r in the head under cams so head stays attached, rocker cover and few other things come of to fit them. btw im also getting cams fitted to my 2.0l at hillpower with cambelt/ pulley/ ten changed as i thought why waste money, if ur gonna do it might aswell do it the once and save the time and money
