How many have been produced has definitely been posted before but I can't think when or by who I'm afraid...

i asked this on the old forums and the results are below, info found by 'mrmerc' iirc.
the uk production figures of mk 1 1.8 16v are:
1991 - 31
1992 - 1,574
1993 - 1,058
1994 - 836
1995 - 908
1996 - 278
Total of 4,685
Williams 1 - 400
Williams 2 - 480
Willaims 3 - 308
(not 100% sure on the willy figures although i have a feeling they are right)

I phoned them today. And just to make sure they got it right i phone back 20 mins later and spoke to someone else.
If they told you something different, i suggest no one will ever know as they obviously cant sort out the correct numbers. But two people today confirmed the same figures to me. Id suggest these are the figures on their computer as of today.
