Willimas Power steering pumps - all same

I need a new power steering pump (loud knocking when cold rather then the usuall whine)

Im planning to try and source a second hand pump but can anyone tell me if they are all the same? i.e 16v will do? R19 16v? RT with power steering?

any help much appreciated

16v and willy pumps are the same, imagine the 19 pump is the same too, but not 100% sure

Does it only do it only when cold, and make a noise like something is catching when going from lock to lock ? After a few turns of the steering wheel its then fine ?

all the clio 16v/williams pumps are the same not sure about the 19 though.

Just to confirm this is my exact problem - I beleiev the renault price new is arounf 180quid
