why, and was it a dog, some people have different ideas of mint dont they
Completely.

Which is idea is correct thought?

Whats your idea of mint?

The guy clearly isnt an expert cars or the Williams and seems to be selling for the wrong reasons, i.e. "its too fast" etc.

Not the seller Id chose, but its got to be worth a look - although not a bid until its been seen in the flesh IMO. Williams buyers beware - you want to see history IMO.

my idea of mint is no accidents, no scratches/ rust or rips, and no sh*tty paint jobs i will accept the slightest parking dent and a few stone chips, thats my idea of mint !!

yea, same.. although, true mint would have original paint (on the main panels.. front wings, bonnet etc.. are easily changed when mint ones become available). ;) Parking dents, slight scratches cant be helped!

If you are looking for a Williams, and want *true* mint.. look forward to looking at lots and lots. It took Mat and myself 2 years pretty much to find two mint Williams.. they are very very very rare. Every other one we saw had paint on the rear arches or roof or another none-bolt-on part.

Its a lot easier if you compromise.. especially on the original paint part.. hehe.. the rear arches usually rust like a good un on em.

Whats that stalk under the indicator stalk?
Stereo remote by the looks of things.

There should be the original Williams 3 one the other side too! (Unless they removed it and left a hole... or, did it properly and got a new bit of plastic with no remote as standard!)

complicated stuff, wish i kept my williams 2 that i bought from new and sold a bit later, at least i would have known it was ok, i filled it up with waxoyl to so i bet its still going strong

Body work can easily be repaired by a good body shop. Its not so easy, or as cheap, to sort the long list of mechanical problems most Williams have. Id go for a mechanically sound car over a cosmetically sound one. If you want both, get your wallet out and give your bank manager a call.

The most important thing is to make sure ITS NOT BEEN BENT IN A CRASH. IF IT HAS IT WILL NEVER HANDLE LIKE IT SHOULD AGAIN. IMO.
