willy alarm

i recently took my car to the garage to get a clutch cable fitted and they reported thet the battey went dead, ever since that my alarm keeps going off for no apparant reason, its mad!! anyone got any ideas as why!! is it worth turning it off at the cobra box under the bonnet for a couple of mins to reset??? i dunno anything about these alarms, just that its bloody loud!!!!!

sounds like when the battery went flat the siren battery back up must have gone flat as well or theyve left the battery connection loose.turn it off at the box for 10mins to reset it and check all the connections are ok.

hey northy, it seemed ok for about 3-4 hours then it went off again for no reason, it was raining tho . Think neighbours are getting the hump now!! i did notice that the corbra box inside the car (hidden behind the fuse box) had come off its mount - how, i do not know cos its pretty tight - thought that could have been the reason,,,,,, obviously not.

Think youll find the best way to fix it is to have a new alarm fitted!
