Wilwood Brake Kit Pad Options?

Hey all,

I ordered a ktec wilwood brake kit and it’s time to get some new pads. However, ktec is telling me the only pads that will fit are supplied by them.

ive seen some guys online running ds2500’s with them but I can’t seem to get anymore information on the sizing of the pads as ktec seems to say they won’t fit.

Any help would be appreciated! Not opposed to going to other brands other then ferodo or if you think the mintex ktec supplies are good then let me know!

If someone is still interested on my track car I use Ferodo FRP502R pads.
I think stock wilwood pads from Ktec kit are kinda awful, anyway.. FRP502/R fits no problem just making a little modification to clear the spring.
Cheap and same shape as the "correct" pads

I have the jamsport wilwood caliper kit on my trophy. Not sure if the same caliper, mine is a wilwood midilight, pad choice is quite limited mostly ds2500 or ds3000.

I modified ferodo ds1.11 frp502w pads as they are the same shape and size but need adjusting to clear the springs, work fine. I done a bit of reading up and all the racers mod pads to fit with no issues.

There is a pad (have code at home) which is straight fit but is twice expensive.
Talked with a ferodo guy here in italy which gave me the page of their catalog with 1:1 drawings to check
