window regulator differances?

Anyone know if there are two different types of regulator for a ph1 172?

not 100% about the phase 1, but with most window regs you have the option of comfort function which means you can just tap the button for the window to go all the way up/down as appose to holding you finger on it. if your reg has never worked or you dont no just check when you buy your replacment it has the same amount of pins on the motor.

cheers for the info but I think I've brought one for a 5 door model hence why it doesn't even come close to fitting correctly
