window tint

getting my windows tinted next Saturday but don't know how dark to have them done, i dont want them really black so you cant see in. so does anyone have any pics of there car with tints so i can see what i like.

Only on the front 2 windows, the back three can be as dark as you like, and the windscreen is illegal no matter how dark. My mum's mk3 dyn S came with rear tints as standard and I think it's just a nice level, so whatever level that would be what I'd get.

I've got a "dark smoke" on my back 3, limo black looks abit weird IMO, dark smoke is good cos looks black but can still see out fine at night when reversing and stufffs!

anything on fronts is illegal now

i used to have the same all round, very light tint, not visible during the day, but dark at night, which was good

however, some kind fuckup smashed my two front windows to get my spaznav, never looked right with just the rears tinted so i removed them all, clean as a whistle now

25% windscreen and 30% fronts. Most cars are already tinted to around this level so anything you add will be illegal
