like them windows gadget things, cpu speed and memory speed etc..but every time i restart the system they disappear and cant find them again lol.any way i can keep them on for good...thanks

If your on about the side bar stuff like the clock etc I turned them off as Vista is heavy enough on memory as it is without those apps taking up extra RAM space.

Right click on the icon in the taskbar and select "close" to turn them off.

Type "sidebar" in the search/ run bar in the start menu for it to pop up again.
