Windows XP Licensing 1-2 CPU

Car  Turbo'd MX-5 MK4
if it states 1-2 CPU, that's 1 computer with 1 or 2 CPUs isn't it, not a license to cover 2 computers.

Not really dual cores are still single cpu's and show as such.

Windows detects it as 2 seperate cpu's actually. will show 2 seperate graphs in task manager for the CPU's and then give an average of them both for the 0 - 100% usage.

when setting affinity to different cores it shows up as multiple cpu's.

And vista is gonna be s**t. unable to play certain games unless you guy it or run certain software. then they have the DRM crap in it its sounding really bad already.

Microsoft Licenses are currently purchased by the socket, no matter how many cores you have, so a Dual Core Processor SQL server can be licensed with 1 SQL Processor license.

Oracle charges 1.5x for a dual core processor license compared to a single core.
