Windscreen problems in the sun!

Hey guys

I seem to have a problem with my windscreen when driving in the sun or in bright conditions.
Noticied over the past few days but mainly tonight.

The windscreen just has loads of shiny dots all over it. Like a silver glitter affect. Not very good and causes some visability problems.

I don't know if its scratches or what but does anyone suffer from this? Or any ideas what it is or how to fix it.

Tried taking a pic but does not really give a true reflection of the issue

It sounds like the screen is pitted mate nothing much can sort it apart of a new screen
